Today’s young people face an abundance of issues: low self esteem, not fully applying self, disrespecting each other, father or mother not around, poverty, gangs, abuse, self doubt, haters and much more.  Despite such things, many have overcome them and become very successful.  Utilizing current music, photographs of individuals who have had major hurdles in life and did not allow them to get them down, students will hear the stories of these individuals, including the speaker, while interacting with one another and understanding that they are not alone. Young people should be prepared to be empowered, self reflect, listen to some good music, laugh, and have a great time!

This has been presented to over 800 young people in Dallas, Houston, and Fort Worth—at high schools, youth conferences, college conferences,  juvenile detention centers and more.
